As I sit here snuggled in my blanket and drinking my hot chocolate, I am finding it hard to get up and face the day. What makes me want to hide under the covers more is the idea that winter has not even begun yet. Sure, winter can be beautiful and I love to watch the falling snow. I watch it from the comfort of my warm home, however, and I think I’d rather do some of my favourite past times instead. If you’re new to this blog, then you may be wondering what they are; which include shopping online and scouring the web for celebrities and their designer handbags. Speaking of the ladder, check out Sarah Jessica Parker with one of her Mulberry handbags, the Mulberry Del Rey bag. Wow, she’s looking fabulous – would you expect anything less?
So many designer handbags to look at, so little time! I hope you had an eventful weekend filled with shopping and so many sales you couldn’t handle it! Well, I know that was my weekend, and you all know how much I really love to save money! One thing I did over the weekend was order something that I have been wanting for a long time. Yes, I finally caved and bought the Prada handbag (shown above, carried by Natasha Poly ) that I have been lusting over, as a holiday present to myself. I know what you’re thinking, how could I possibly afford a Prada bag? Well, here’s your answer: I didn’t.
Every week on this blog I like to feature notable celebrities and their designer handbags. I say notable, since I can’t say my favourite, (many aren’t particularly my faves) and I can’t really say popular (again, since some of the celebrites which are my faves, aren’t necessarily popular) and today’s person of interest kind of falls into the middle for me. Clair Danes (pictured above with her lovely Prada bag) is a celeb who I respect but not really love, and is well-known, but not so much popular. Either way, I love to see celebs out just so I can see which designer bag choices they have and I think Clair really made a great choice by choosing Prada handbags.
Well this is going to be a post where to do some venting. No, this is not going to be a hate post or anything like that, and if you’re seeing the photograph of Gwyneth Paltrow (above) carrying a striped Gucci handbag, you might think that this is going to be a post bashing her (like many people like to do these days). Well, that’s not what I’m going to do today, I’d much rather come to her defence (and talk about Gucci handbags while I’m at it) because, you know, it’s the classy thing to do.
As someone who prides themselves as being a literary buff (and to a lesser extent, a film buff), I’m actually embarrassed to say that I have yet to see the new Great Gatsby film. There. I said it. Sure, that may not mean anything to you personally, but my friends who know me would probably cringe of the thought. I mean, even I cringe at the thought because it means that I have been working so much lately that my side interests and hobbies have started to slip every day to accommodate more work. Well, I am an adult, after all. Check out star of the Great Gatsby, Carey Mulligan (above) carrying a gorgeous, and soft-looking Prada handbag on her arm. Just an added note: When don’t Prada handbags look super soft?
If you read my blog regularly, then you may already know that I write a lot about celebrities. Well, this is a blog dedicated to great designer bags, like Gucci handbags, for example, but it makes most sense to write about these bags that are carried by celebs since these Hollywood folks are most likely to be carrying them. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be one of these coveted people who are followed around, photographed daily, and have little to no private life. Some celebrities, like Anne Hatheway (pictured above carrying her hot Gucci bag – the Gucci Snaffle Bit handbag) can manage to keep relatively private (well, in terms of celebrity) and I’m sure that it’s quite the undertaking.
You have your conventionally beautiful celebrities, like Kate Bosworth and Jessica Beil, and then you have Dita von Teese who is in a class all her own. I don’t mean to say that Dita is not conventionally beautiful like the other celebrities that I mentioned, because she is. I am merely saying that she is outside of the box. Check out her amazing figure and beautiful face above (along with an impeccable Louis Vuitton bag to boot) and you’ll see what I mean. Dita, you really are making me envious, and I’m not just talking about Louis Vuitton handbags, either!
We still have another post left to go which features Alessandra Ambrosio this week, but alas, it will soon be coming to an end. Don’t worry, this post is a big one since I saved the best (and biggest haul) for last. Alessandra must be in love with Mulberry handbags, since she’s got great taste! I can see why I’m starting to love this celebrity more and more – we’re style twins. Okay, I wish, but check out these images (above and below) which show off Alessandra’s fab Mulberry bag collection. Jealous? I know I am!
Well, we are back again and yes it is day two of our official week of posts dedicated to the stunning Alessandra Ambrosio and her hot designer handbags. Last time Louis Vuitton lightened my mood, and today we will be having even more fun (if that’s possible). I don’t know about you, but it seems like I am posting more and more on Hermes Birkin bags than usual lately. Maybe it’s because so many celebrities actually have Hermes handbags, and maybe it’s because I am also obsessed with this bag (or it’s a combination of both) In any case, check out Alessandra Ambrisio (above) looking amazing (not surprised) on the street carrying her gorgeous gray Hermes Birkin handbag.
The weather is getting colder and colder by the day, and let me tell you, I am missing summer already. I can’[t wait to see how depressed I’m going to be when there are layers upon layers of snow on the ground, making it harder and harder for me to get around outside. I honestly wish it was possible for me to turn into a bear and hibernate until the springtime. Okay, that might be a little dramatic (and ridiculous… and impossible) but I am just not feeling this cold. Hopefully looking at designer bags will perk me up a bit. Louis Vuitton handbags always seem to do the trick.
